Marvellous Morning Muesli

A wholesome mix of oats, nuts, seeds, and dried fruit, rich in soluble fibre and healthy fats. This cholesterol-friendly breakfast supports heart health, lowers LDL, and provides sustained energy. Easily customizable, it’s a simple, nourishing way to start your morning with balanced nutrition and flavour.

Ingredients
  

  • Base nut muesli no added sugar
  • Skimmed milk or plant-based milk ideally oat milk
  • To make it marvellous:
  • 1-2 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp flaxseed
  • 1 tsp flaxseed
  • 2 tsp pumkin seeds
  • drizzle of honey
  • Fresh fruit such as blueberries raspberries or banana

Method
 

  1. Take any low sugar brand of nut-based muesli to serve as a base. Take care to choose a product that isn’t packed with added sugar!
  2. Many fruit based mueslis are packed with dried fruit which are a concentrated form of sugar. So opt for nut-based muesli then use fresh fruit to add the sweetness.
  3. Add the marvellous ingredients or alternatively your choice of nuts and seeds.
  4. Add the skimmed or plant based milk (oat milk works well with this).
  5. Drizzle with a teaspoon of honey.
